schoolteacher.  They are two of the good citizens of Kosse.

           Kosse Municipal Elections Cancelled
In the City of Kosse election Mayor Ben Daniell
and Council members Ronnie Funderburk,
Richard Bennett, and Scarlett Swinnea are all
running unopposed. As a result, this election will
be cancelled.
    James McCaleb Appointed to City Council
Longtime Kosse resident James McCaleb has
been appointed to the Kosse City Council
following the resignation of elected councilman
Heath Mitchell at the March 18 Kosse City Council
meeting.
Sign Up For Annual Kosse Homecoming 5K Run
It is time to register for participation in the annual
Kosse Homecoming 5K Run/Walk.  The cost to
sign up will be $20.00 with all proceeds going
towards the Kosse Heritage House Roof Fund.

The Kosse Roping Grounds will be the site for a
Ranch Rodeo on May 24 at
7:00 p.m..  These
have proven to be exciting events which are well
